Noodle Skeleton Marionette for Halloween

The directions for the noodle skeleton were shared with me years ago from a friend who found these directions online. The name on the directions links you to the website but the skeleton design on her website is different now. I also sent the directions in pdf form too.

The noodle man skeleton is performed in my Old House Story Apron with the poems I included which I perform every year at Halloween at school. I also attached  a couple photos of me performing with the apron of which one has the noodle man marionette.

Enjoy!

Noodle Man Skeleton Poems

Once on a Halloween night

When all good reason did take flight

A bowl of dry noodles on the table

Spoke to a needle and said, “Are you able?”

“To stitch me into a Halloween costume?”

Now magic here is what we assume.

The needle did reply,

“With this thread here I will try.”

A little privacy is what they need
For this costume to succeed.

Skeleton Parade

The skeletons are out tonight,
they march about the street,
With bony bodies, bony heads
and bony hands and feet.
Bony bony bony bones
with nothing in between,
Up and down and all around
they march on Halloween.
